Self catering in the Cotswolds

Self catering is made easy in our Cotswold holiday cottage!

Whether you’d like a quick cuppa’ or a three course meal, the spacious kitchen is well-equipped for all your self-catering needs.

If you don’t feel like putting your pinny on, pop in to the delightful 17th Century former coaching inn. It’s just around the corner.

To help settle you into your new ‘home from home’, we love to go beyond normal self catering requirements.

When you arrive at the Cotswold cottage you’ll find fresh milk in the fridge and a welcome tray with coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits.

Family time in the Cotswolds

Ideally placed between kitchen and sitting room, the dining room is at the heart of the Cotswold self catering cottage.

Share family meals around the lovely wooden table that extends if you want to play board games. Try your hand at one of our more challenging jigsaws!

Spread out maps of your next adventure or pour over travel guides to help plan your Cotswold holiday activities.

There is free wi-fi for those all-important internet searches.

Cotswold cottage sleeping arrangements

All three bedrooms of the cottage are on the first floor. To ensure you get a perfect night’s sleep, the comfortable beds are made up with 100% cotton bed linen.

You’ll awake with your batteries fully recharged, ready for your next ‘grand day out’ in the rolling Cotswold hills.

Family bathroom in our holiday cottage

The bathroom is also on the first floor. After a full day exploring the beautiful Cotswolds take a relaxing hot soak in the bath. Or freshen up under the walk-in shower.

And because we know the needs of (most) families – there is also a handy downstairs cloakroom.

Courtyard garden and parking facilities

Gable Cottage is an end-terrace Victorian cottage on a quiet no-through road. There is a private driveway with room for up to two cars.

The stable doors open out from the kitchen onto a pretty Cotswold cottage courtyard garden.

Relax in the outside space with a cup of tea in the morning. Or perhaps a glass of bubbly in the evening.

Dog friendly holiday cottage in the Cotswolds

As dog owners ourselves we understand how important it is that your pet is happy and well looked after during your Cotswold holiday.

There’s no better way to make this happen than to bring your pet with you – and we are a dog friendly holiday cottage in the Cotswolds.

There are plenty of great walks in the area which our own two dogs, Molly and Tara, always enjoy.

We welcome up to two dogs in the holiday cottage (£25 per dog) and we do our best to make your pets feel at home.
